Parking is a bit tricky any my only misgiving about the establishment is their failure to carry mixes such as sodas, juices, and such. It's just a little bit inconvenient and mean that you've got to make an extra stop...but that ain't nothing but a thang.”

“So last night I was driving my 2012 Kia Optima back from the casino and all of a sudden it stopped working. Called Kia for roadside assistance and they called me a tow as well as the police because I was directly in the middle of the road. First on the sence was a Big guy from Auto In Motion Towing, what had happened was the police called a different tow company. I explained the situation and he was very understanding even at 4:30am on a Saturday morning. The police showed up and told me it can’t be in the road so I told them we would push it. The tow driver offered to use his lights but once again we were on a hill. I talked to the tow driver and he said it’s usually $200 for a police ordered tow but he would charge me the $100 min to move it to a near by parking lot for me. While unloading the car off his truck Kia calls and tells me it will be 3hrs before someone shows up for s tow. So it’s now 5am 20 degrees out and we’re stranded until Mr. Tow truck man offers me a ride to the diner to keep warm! The police officer took my other two friends and we all met there. End of the day it always feels sketchy getting a tow but these folks/ locals out near Mountainhome PA are really nice people. If you guys read this, thanks guys. You were awesome!!!”

“Clean and bright. Great place for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Bagels and a shmear. Pork roll, egg and cheese. Salads and sandwiches galore. The employees are nice and warm and helpful. “The owner was very helpful and flexible with my schedule. I was in town for two weeks and needed to store my RV while I visited someone. He allowed me to come in on a Sunday when they were closed and settle up on Monday which was very nice of him. The rate was very reasonable at $25 for two weeks. I was told it was more during the time of year when people typically store their RV's which seems totally reasonable. Bottom line is the price was right and his customer service was on point. I really appreciated it. I would highly recommend this place for your storage needs.”

“Place is nice, typical laundromat. They keep it clean. Problem is there is no phone service here. They say there is free WiFi but you must sign in and there is no password listed. They say to see the desk, but there's usually no one around...not to mention there is no desk since they've closed the deli. That said, you're there to do laundry. The machines are decent and do a good job. Prices are decent too.”

“Quaint and cozy B&B. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to spend in the serene surroundings. The owners were friendly and attentive, beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with a very large selection of made-to-order items. The scones were amazing. We’re glad we found this gem and are looking forward to staying there again the next time we head to the Poconos. It was also close to Camelback and Shawnee ski areas.”

“After sending my daughter to this camp for seven summers, I can only say that she and her camp friends have had an awesome time, with each summer somehow being described as the best summer ever! The staff has a special way interacting with all types of personalities. The activities are vast in number, so every child should be able to have fun. The communication from the staff is exceptional, and while it is a lot of work for them making this place what it is, it comes across as they too are having fun. I have absolutely no reservations in giving Camp Canadensis my full endorsement. My only regret is that I am a parent and can't go to this camp too!”

“The elementary kids I work with love this camp. Every summer we rent a few cabins to get away from the city. They love the food. The staff is friendly. There are some newly renovated cabins, but overall the cabins are decent. The activities are fun and everyone love the pool and campfire.”
