“So far so good. I had a pretty bad bunionectomy and reset of bones done On October 21st. I was a nervous wreck. Came home with a cast on and stayed off my feet for 5 days and only got up to use the restroom. Not going to lie, there was a good amount of pain. After having the cast redone due to a bit of discomfort with swelling I went back to work at a desk job on October 26th and kept my foot elevated and took ibprophen. Today is October 31st, I am walking in a surgical boot without crutches or my cane. I am still taking the ibprophen and keeping the foot elevated. There is discomfort but it is tolerable. The first few steps are the hardest and then my foot mellows out. I will follow up in a month.”
