If you want a trustworthy mechanic that won't screw you over and charges a fair price, look no further. They've handled every bit of auto work I've had since I moved here in 2011.
Last time I was in, I handed them an opportunity to screw me over on a silver platter. My car was having trouble starting and I thought my battery was starting to go. So I took it to Pep Boys for them to put it on the voltmeter. The idiot at Pep Boys told me that the battery was fine and that there must be another problem. So I take it to Glemser's. Well, it turned out it really was the battery. Some mechanics would have taken the golden opportunity to tell me it was an alternator or solenoid. But, no, they didn't. They are just honest men that do honest work for an honest days' pay. He just got a new battery and installed it for me.
And when you go in, don't be shy. First time I walked into their shop, they were in the garage and I waited around for like 10 minutes because they didn't know I was there. Just stick your head into the the garage and say hi. They get caught up into their work and don't realize a customer walked in. Real friendly guys, too.
They've handled everything from body work after a collision to exhaust work to engine work to basic oil changes for me. Always high quality work at a reasonable price.
