Prior to moving there he was in and out of the hospital and rehab, frequently mismanaged his medications, had a poor diet, and felt isolated. The managers and staff did an amazing job of helping him adjust to this move and he quickly made new friends, gained weight from all the great food, and even went on local fishing outings with Wayne, the maintenance director. The staff treated him with great care and respect. We knew he was in the right place when we were out to lunch one day and he said he wanted to go home...to the Birches.
