First time there, even though it is close by!! Started with a glass of wine, warm bread and butter. Entree was their chef's special - crab imperial stuffed lobster, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables (green beans & carrots). Creme brulee for dessert. One of the best meals we've had in quite a while. Food was delicious (compliments to the chef), and the service was excellent!! We will be returning!!

I had a top floor king room over the restaurant. I was there for a luncheon event the next day. The private lunch in the restaurant was top notch, delicious food, beautiful presentation and fastidious service. The room was also impeccable well-appointed and clean.

There was an unfortunate odor in the common area and the stairwell that indicated to me animals had been present and had urinated into the carpet. That's what it smelled like to me. Fortunately did not carry into the restaurant nor into my room. But the common area carpet is well worn, needs a cleaning probably needs total replacement.

The property’s was decent but a bit dated. Room was a too warm for me. Pilot light was lit on the furnace in the middle of summer.
The location was good. I loved the view and the little patio outlooking the meadow with a few numbers of wildlife. It was quiet for the most part.

Wonderful. If you are looking for a charming and historical place to stay then this is it. Spend a few days there with a group and the experience was very good. Rooms are updated and well maintained, with all the amenities you need. They also have a nice restaurant on site as well as accomodations for events and large groups. We had the entire campus and enjoyed every minute. The service deserves a special recognition because it is very good. Also the food they served us was very tasty and with a great variety. Also the fact that you are near everything in terms of restaurants and shops but still feel like away from everything is perfect.
