I purchased a fine carpet runner from Tapis in the Mall. I worked with Maggio on the sale of the runner carpet I selected. He showed me a decent selection of oriental rugs, more than I expected for these times. All industries are recovering from the pandemic and some are having a difficult time getting their products back in the stores. It's been over a month since Giant food stores ran out of canola mayonnaise and every trip to get groceries, I'm told the same thing in every Giant in the area, "We have regular Hellmann's but they are behind in making the canola mayo." For over a month?!! But I digress.

Maggio was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and happy to give me a needed education on oriental carpet and tapestry manufacturing and exporting. I am satisfied with the in-house work he did in custom handstitching the border of the carpet I selected, as well as with the value and price.

I would definitely return to his store first, if or when I have a need for quality imported carpeting. It's a mystery to me why there are negative reviews against Tapis. I guess some people just like to complain. Is it too much to ask for low-calorie mayo? I suppose my life could be worse.
