  My experiences have all been very positive. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the surgeons are first-rate. I can't say enough about Dr. Sheth! From the initial discovery that I had two dangerous aneurysms, to the successful completion of open surgery, he has been wonderful. He takes pains to explain all options and his surgical skills are impressive. From my experinces, there is no one better! Highly recommended.

  I did NOT have the same problems as the other reviewer had with the center itself. Ultra-sounds of my legs and vein stripping by Dr Fisher (now retired?) went well. Nurses always respond promptly to messages left on their machine and they are diligent with test results.
  
  But the negative review of Dr Lipscomb by the other reviewer is dead on. Had clots in my legs that situated themselves on nerve endings. Could not stand up (just to go to the bathroom!) without crippling pain in my legs. Doc gave me pain killers and Lovenox to treat the clots. This was a 10 day self-injection regimen to break up the clots. But the pain killer prescription was good for just a few days and when it ran out I could barely stand to give myself injections or anything else. Called for more and got the "I can't" on account of addiction song and dance. Wouldn't give me an alternative other than recommend acetaminophen - something that never worked for me for even minor pain or headache. I literally cleaned out the home medicine cabinet for every leftover out of date pain killer that I could find (after looking them up in a PDR to avoid complications with Lovenox or warfarin). You have to understand, I'm no crybaby - I tolerate most pain just fine. I almost never take pain killers, I usually just suck it up. But this was different and physically debilitating. I dreaded getting vertical just to go to the bathroom. Called her back and begged for something. Begged. After again recommending acetaminophen I again tell her that it never worked for me. I tell her that ibuprofen works but that is forbidden with warfarin and "blood thinning" meds. Then she tells me to take that! After avoiding it (the correct thing to do) the entire time. She could have told me this in the beginning - or just extended my prescription for a week. My biggest regret over this whole incident is that I didn't fire her during the follow-up exam. I gave her a good piece of my mind (respectfully and even tempered). But I should have followed up with a "You're Fired!"
  
  I don't think she is on the staff here anymore. I see her listed with a center in Lexington KY. Hopefully she has learned something about pain management since my experience with her.
