(November 27, 2017, 9:40 am)Sensei Jim is a great instructor who teaches his students individually and successfully. I have been learning there for under a year, yet I have learned much that I thought was only movie magic. The preciseness of his teachings have enabled his students to work together in uniform Kihon, Kata, and Kumite and allowed students of all ages to learn quickly and correctly from his senior students.
(March 28, 2017, 9:02 pm)In the past year, I have gained confidence, improved my coordination and learned great self-defense skills from Sensei Jim's Shotokan Karate classes at Mountain Martial Arts. I highly recommend his classes to students of all ages, children to adult.
(March 28, 2017, 7:57 pm)My family has been training here for one year. Sensei Jim is an excellent instructor, who works well with all age students. My daughter who is 6 years old loves working with Sensei Jim and has learned more than I could have dreamed in this short period of time.
