“Very nice and well kept. Captain enjoys walking at the park. Captain can take friends along. It just frustrates me that there are such inconsiderate people that leave their garbage lay and dog feces lay, and are to inconsiderate to bend over and pick it up and walk to a garbage can to discard if. People read the park rules and abide by them”

“If you keep walking between the fields down to the creek, it's a quiet, peaceful location. The only challenge was knowing the boundaries of the park since there are no signs. On Google Maps it looks like a rather large area beyond the creek, but no one would know that without looking at the map while walking around. A couple of benches or markers would be helpful so we're not trespassing on the nearby farmer's property.”

“Went here with a play group. They have 2 playgrounds (one geared for younger kids, and one for older), swing sets, a little race track, a pavilion, sand/beach volleyball, and relatively clean bathrooms. It’s a cute little park just off the rail trail that’s lots of fun for kids and families.”

“We went to the small fair that was held here a month ago. We really enjoy the fair food. French Fries, corn dogs and lemonade were excellent. It was too bad the weather was not better as the turnout was quite low. We still had a great time. Took a caramel apple home for desert along with a number of memories. Hopefully they will return next year.”

“This is Morgan's favorite park. She gets so excited when we pull up and it seems to have the friendliest dogs.”

“This township park is perhaps one of the greatest open public spaces in eastern Pennsylvania. The former residence of the first mayor of the newly-consolidated city of Bethlehem, Archibald Johnston, the park encompasses the grounds of his "big house", as it was known by the family. Notable here is the paved walk along the Monocacy Creek from the cement bridge to a private rail crossing less than a mile away. The walkways are generally clear, often accessible by wheelchair (though visitors bringing others using wheelchairs are advised to make a preview visit to assess trail conditions). In fall, apple trees planted by Johnston still bear fruit and the orchard is an occasionally-visited picnic spot. A new parking lot (completed in 2015) is about 1/4 mile from the mansion. Allow about 90-120 minutes for a full park walk. Bring water and a cellphone. Portapotty is available at the parking lot. Open dawn to dusk. ”

“This place is only available to students and faculty, really, but it is an excellent getaway. Only a few minutes' walk from the main campus, it feels like a quiet oasis of nature. On top of that, it is a green, renewable, and organic farming project with its own beekeeping, making it a valuable asset in addition to a beautiful patch of wildland. If you're a student or faculty at NCC, check it out!”

“This nice little 4.8 acre park is ideal for picnicking, fishing and bird watching. The park has picnic tables, multipurpose field and a scenic observation deck overlooking Fry's Run. Fry's Run Park provides an access point to Delaware Canal State Park and the D&L Trail. The park features the historic M. Opp Bridge, which is a stone arch bridge over Fry's Run built in 1824. The park is open Sunrise to sunset. The park has undergone a restoration of the stream bank that included the planting of 190 trees and shrubs.”
