Dr. Nowicki gave me a choice between 2 surgical centers to get the hardware in my kneecap removed. I chose South Lake for convenience, but I had no idea that I would be treated like royalty! With 2 nurses prepping me for surgery, and making me feel so comfortable, I almost felt guilty with all of the attention. When I came to, I asked if it was 11:49 yet. They asked why. I told them that the Blue Angels were doing a fly-over the hospital. They said that I couldn't see it, and I fell asleep again. When I woke up again, they were right by my side, and showed me a video of the fly-over. I highly recommend South Lake Surgical Center for their cleanliness and professionalism, but also because they make you feel like you are part of the family atmosphere. You won't be treated like a number, nor will you feel like you are being herded in with a bunch of other patients. I hope I never have to have surgery again, but if I do, I will definitely go back here, where I'm treated like a family member. Thank you so much!
