A very nice place to visit. I was chaperoning my son's class trip, so wasn't able to spend as much time as is required to enjoy each exhibit fully. Almost every exhibit has a hands on feature to help people experience and understand the exhibit. If you plan to go here, be sure to allow for the whole day.
Amazing place to have right in our backyard. Went here for a school trip and they were so great with all of the kids. I am definitely going to be getting a membership so we can go back and explore more. Plus they have rotating exhibits to keep things fresh.
I've been coming to this place since I was kid on a field trip. Never gets old. Always something new but they keep their awesome classics to enjoy across generations. Very hands on if you want it to be, but plenty of good reading and observations to make too if you aren't the active type :) Very busy, but there's plenty of room to move around.
Our family loved it here! One five year old and one 16 month old. We were blown away by he variety of amazing interactive exhibits. The train room and machine room were big hits. The brain exhibit was very cool, too. As was Newton's loft. The food was pretty good in the cafe, which was a nice surprise. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely a fantastic place. The Viking exhibit was wonderful! So well done. The whole museum from top to bottom is full of so many wonderful things. This is my second time there and I would go back again
