“They Never disappoint at the Chestnut Hill Hotel Bar. We had Happy Hour Drinks Long Island Tea, Blended Margarita Cuba Libra and Shots."Good Stuff" We also had 2 different kinds of wings go the were delicious. They were Parmasan Garlic and Buffolo wings You can or go wrong with either choice and a nice surprise was a Good portion of Slaw. One suggestion would be a little mayonnaise on these Hot days. The Flavor was there though. Yummy Vegetable Nachos, with Guacamole, and Sour cream. Very tasty.”

“My daughter started seeing Rachael at The Art Shop and was getting beautiful haircuts. I decided to also get my haircut by her and I’m so pleased that I did. She is incredibly talented and she asks the right questions so that I always leave with a haircut/style I’m happy with. Also, the stylists at The Art Shop are super friendly, making every visit entertaining.”

“Always an enjoyable experience! Allow yourself time to dine! Be prepared to enjoy a relaxed pace and a friendly atmosphere. The food has always been and continues to be stellar. This is the best of Chestnut Hill: small, local, fresh and an owner, who greets you at the door!”

“I have to say this is the ABSOLUTE best yarn shop to see in Philly! They have a vast selection of yarns, most I’m not familiar with. You’ll get great feels from this shop! I just wish I lived closer!! A total must see and shop when in the city!!!”

“By far the best vet experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve met some wonderful vets. The receptionist was so kind and welcoming and kept us company while we waited. The vet and the assistant/tech were wonderful and so sweet to my poor fur baby, Albus. They helped us out of a jam and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. I absolutely recommend them. I wish we could have taken them back to North Carolina with us. If we’re ever in Philly again and in need of kitty care, Chestnut Hill is where we’ll go.”

“Our toddler and infant are very happy here. My son always talks about how much fun he has in Miss Debbie's class, and my daughter is always excited to see Miss Sheree in the morning with a big smile and wave. I really like how they do different, unique activities each week - from art to music, reading, etc. Their playground/outdoor space is larger than any other school we looked at, which is incredibly important to my active son. I also love how each teacher seems to know their names even though they aren't their specific class teachers. I think this shows how they go above and beyond to make it feel like a big family. It has been an extremely fun and loving school!”

“What a lovely park in the heart of the Chestnut Hill neighborhood. This park has a lake and during the summer months, every Wednesday evening there is a concert. Definitely worth a visit with the Family, friends, alone, and with your Pets. Enjoy and always clean after yourself! Oh yeah, and I believe that I have seen water fountain and a bathroom too. Parking is available in the nearby streets or at the lot close to the supermarket.”

“It was a little bit late in the day when I arrived the last stop of the trip, perhaps the most famed Louis Kahn’s residential project, the Margaret Esherick House, located at the end of a driveway on the Chestnut Hill. The whole block is like a huge green carpet where trees and houses are embroideries that sparsely sewed on it. When I was taking photos in front of the building and hesitating whether or not to walk around for a overview of its exterior, the current owners came back and during our small chat, I got to know that they bought this house couple of years ago and I’m by far the first visitor they met. If not they had to leave at that time, I would have gotten a chance to have a interior tour with them!”
