(November 10, 2018, 3:56 pm)Moving to this area, I wasn't quite sure who I should use as a mechanic. I found a few mechanics with many positive reviews, but my wife suggested giving someone else a shot. Having tried him, I am confident that Nick takes professional pride in providing great service.
My wife dropped off and picked up the car and she had a good experience doing it. She didn't feel mansplained to.
I also forgot about our service until I opened the front of the car recently. I recall Nick telling me on the phone that he had cleaned up the engine area, but when I opened it, it looked like an OCD clean freak had painstakingly worked through it. The interior surfaces, fluid reservoirs, etc, were all totally clear and free of grime and I could actually see the fluid levels.

(August 17, 2017, 2:10 pm)Nick is fair, honest, and a great mechanic. Took my car in for inspection. I'm new to town and he spent time explaining how the laws work in PA. When I expressed I may need new brakes he assured me I did not after he took a look at them. I feel lucky to have found a mechanic I can trust in Manayunk.
(April 13, 2017, 6:59 am)Hands down the best auto service experience I've ever had. Found this place on Yelp today and went in just to get an oil change. But Nick went above and beyond to rotate my tires, refill fluid levels, fix my unbolted undercarriage, inspect air filter, etc. And he only charged me for the oil change service. There is no other auto shop, at least the ones I've been to, that provides this kind of genuine-care service where the mechanic genuinely pays attention to your car concerns and translates that into excellent, high-quality service. I'll definitely be coming back here for future auto maintenance needs.
