“Debbi's class for mature adults is very appropriate for everyone. She adjust the exercise to each person who needs modifications due to their individual issues. The evening classes are great for a more challenging routine still she adjusts to each person with specific issues. And she covers the entire muscle structure. In my case I started her classes with a limited right leg mobility in climbing stairs. That issue is totally gone. “I have been going to Promised Land for over 40 years. This was BY FAR the best experience I have had with any restaurant in the area. The remodel is amazing, as is the service, the food, and the atmosphere! I speak for my parents as well, who have now eaten there 4 times, this is a must if in Promised Land or the area. While this was just my husband and I this time, my kids have been there as well, and they loved it! In addition, they can do Gluten Free, which I need. BEST gluten free wings I have ever had, and wings are very hard to come by with allergies! We will go back for sure!”

“We stay here, the motel part, for 2 nights. A wedding close by. We loved staying here. Needed to bring our own linens (sheets, towels, pillows) and the shower was a stall shower (very small). Full refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV and a couch. All very nice and comfy. Thank you High Country Cottages”

“This is part of a CCC museum in Promise Land State Park. What a great place. The museum is manned by volunteers who are very helpful. It is more than a CCC museum. There is also a nature center with lots of things to look at, touch and learn. The kids will love to open the draws and touch the turtle shells, pelts, an see the bugs that are out in the forest. It is the best State Park that we visited. It has camping, boating (electric motors only) hiking and fishing (summer and ice in the winter and snowmobiling. It is worth the trip. Note The museum is open only in the summer July 4th to Labor Day.”

“Great out of the way place for Fiestaware among other things. Just may have that elusive item you are looking for. BEWARE that the bathroom here is a Porta Potty in the corner of the parking lot. The picnic area is nice but we were there on a rainy November day. Also note that this place is closed in winter.”
