  We were there for a wedding. The food was great, and the venue was beautiful!

  Mother's Day brunch was over the top! Atmosphere was beautiful; beef from the carving station was amazing! Loved the cream of asparagus soup. Chicken dish was delicious and unusual.
  
  Here are the things that could have been better:
  
  Quiche was broccoli-swiss. Kind of 'blah' and a little on the dry side. I know it would be more work, but a pan of portioned Eggs Benedict would have scored major points if they had had it.
  
  The desert table showed effort, especially the fresh strawberries with chocolate fondue. But the portions of cakes and pies had been plated the day before, so the lemon-merengue pie for example looked dry, cracked, and some were just caving in. The black forest cake too seemed to be losing flavor like it had been standing around a while.
  
  There was a menu of specialty drinks, but Mimosa cocktail was not on the list. That is a classic and popular item and ladies especially enjoy it whether it is Easter, Mother's Day, or at a bridal shower. The waitress didn't know what a Mimosa is and said she would have to ask the bartender if he/she could make it. We did get them in the end.
  
  As to the reservation, a staff member called to confirm and asked that we arrive early. No point in that since we were made to line up behind the velvet rope and were not allowed to enter until the prescribed time. I had my 90 year old mother with me who is in a walker. There was a bench available but it was already occupied with able-bodied people. I asked if there wasn't a place where she and my stepdad (age 91 and with a cane) could sit. The man allowed me to pull two chairs from the adjacent dining room into the waiting area and place them along the wall.
  
  Getting the two older folks into the dining room was tough because they could not navigate the long staircase into the lower level. We had to take them outside in the pouring rain and go on a long path/ramp that leads to the lower level. These older folks have both had long and successful careers. They are smart and witty and to this day are lively conversationalists. We just felt like we were being looked down upon because we had people with special needs. One of the guests even glared at us as we exited the lobby area to find the ramp. That is not the restaurant's fault but they could have set the tone by not making me get the chairs myself and by maybe speaking to my guests directly. Our culture needs to change big time. Some day we will all be old and it is not nice to find out you will be treated as if you are invisible!

  Beautiful location overlooking lake Wallenpaupack. Great food and great views of the lake while dining or just having a cocktail. Highly recommend!

  Great afternoon of food and fun.
  Great service from the help and full appreciation of what they do.
  Great entertainment for a mature audience, but not for the CHILDREN that were present.
  All in all, would and will return.
