Gorgeous place to hike. Plenty of views and trails to go on. Highly recommend hiking shoes, but you can get away with running shoes. Depending on where you go you dont have to pay. But if you go up to the main entrance you have to pay to go on the trail. its around 10$ for adults. Kids are around 4-8$ I believe.
Great spot during the fall migration; if you're into birds of prey, you'll love it! The Visitors Center and parking is free, but the trail to the top of the mountain does cost. I believe it's $10 per person, which is paid inside the Visitors Center - credit cards are accepted. The trails to the top of the mountain are moderate to the average person. Although the top of the mountain is not accessible to people with mobility issues, there is a lookout point at the beginning of the trail that does offer a beautiful view of the mountains and some of the migrants.
Very popular hiking spot! Amazing views. If you take the escarpment trail or the river of rocks trail...be prepared for LOTS of rocks. Quite an adventure! And we got to see some Hawks too.
Great lookout over the surrounding area. I recommend visiting when a ranger is there as they can point out different types of birds and fauna.
Great place, very nice facilities, like a national park but private. Good short hike/walk up to various overlooks for an easy visit. Or longer trails if more adventurous. We did the Skyline ridge trail and back down by to the River of Rocks trail. Skyline is a LOT of boulder clambering. Those trails are in the state lands. Pay attention to the trail blazes!
