“I found this campground 4 years ago and camped here because it was close to the county fair. I have come back every year since. The Staff is great- helpful, accommodating, and always pleasant. My family and I have stayed using the 4 weekend only package so we are not permanent campers. None the less everyone has always been friendly and respectful of one another. This is a decent family oriented, well run, peaceful place to relax and enjoy life. (Even if it is only 4 to 6 weekends a summer) I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the special greeting campers get from Lilly the owner’s beautiful white Golden doodle. ...Truly this place is a Gem in the Mountains... This past year (2018) we got a permanent site. Loved every minute we could spend at the campground. It is late fall now and getting cold. Can't wait for the spring to return. Everyone has been so friendly, just a wonderful relaxed atmosphere.”

“This place has saved me many times over the years on odds and ends we run out of but don't want to drive ten miles to the nearest store in this rural area. The only drawback are the prices on convenience items are way high but that's expected. There's a Dollar General building right next door which will be interesting to see how this place can compete. I imagine they may give up on the convenience items but keep the hot food and gas. Used to have a pay phone out front alongside the highway but it was removed years back like almost every other payphone which is a shame as cell service is sketchy in the area and it'd be a good service to folks who can't afford a phone.”

“Exemplary clinic in all aspects; from being able to get urgent appt as a first time patient to having had top notch staff who explained all procedures before, during, and after care. Everyone here was over the top in skills, compassion,empathy, kindness and hugs. There was nothing done extra or offered that was not necessary; Dr. Jones was very astute in her clinical exam, diagnostic testing, and final Diagnosis. The clinic environment is exceptionally clean and organized. Dr. Jones is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, detailed and compassionate. She and her staff handled our ill pet with gentleness and love. The entire staff was also very supportive and compassionate towards our Family during this most difficult loss of our family pet angel. Though the outcome was sad, we are, nonetheless, eternally grateful for this animal clinic and its entire staff for everything they did. Our family pet child passed peacefully surrounded by her family and Dr. Jones (who comforted and hugged us upon the passing of our pet).
