During my initial appointment Dr. Kirby took the time to listen to me and understood my treatment needs and requests. He is the first doctor in 2 years to listen to me and want all of my records. He is the first doctor to understand the emotional and psychological impact of living with chronic pain.
I am honestly blown away by the idea that a doctor was finally willing to listen to me and my diagnoses, and that is a sad statement to reflect my experiences in the last 6 years.
As the clinic is brand new it is extremely clean and welcoming. The two additional staff members I came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. After my failed back surgery in 2013 and additional hip issue, I feel like I have hope for the first time in 6 years. At minimum, I have found a place that seems to care about the individual and is genuinely interested in helping.
