Hog Fathers is a casual local restaurant that serves mostly BBQ food. I ate lunch here once. My husband’s fried chicken had a crispy breading and moist flavorful meat. My husband described this fried chicken as some of the best that he has ever eaten in his life. His half rack of baby back ribs were tender and tasty. My brisket was a large size. The baked beans were very flavorful. The macaroni had some spice and could have used a little more cheese. The cornbread was moist and tasty. The fries were thick and crispy. The mashed potatoes were instant, I think, but were also very creamy.

Surprisingly good food. Selections galore, hot tasty food! A five star. Waitress and staff extremely helpful, clean family friendly restaurant.

I remember when Hog Fathers first opened in Washington, and it's just as good as it was back then! They have a phenomenal pulled pork sandwich. Their fries are HUGE (and they also have sweet potato fries!!!) And they have the BEST mac and cheese.

This was the first time that I ate at Hog Fathers. We purchased take out for a few people, sampling a variety of food.

First off, I really liked the ribs. We tried both the St. Louis and Baby back ribs, and both types were cooked well and had a lot of meat on them, much more meatier than at chain restaurants. I could have used some additional sauce though, and would ask for some next time.

I personally had a ribs and fried chicken combo and was very impressed with the fried boneless chicken that came with the dinner. It was a bit salty, but not too much for me. The coleslaw was a bit bland for my taste, but it was good. I was disappointed with the French fries that came with the combo. They were packed in foil with the ribs and chicken, and were soggy when I went to eat them. My son had a side of fries that were packaged separately and they weren't soggy, but still not my type. I like shoestring type french fries and these were way too thick for my liking.

My sister had the salmon and while it was good, she found a few bones in it, which is not a good thing.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and would order here again, stopping at McDonald's on the way home for some fries.
