  My pup and I traveled over an hour to get here and it was so worth it!!! Beautiful views, comfortable hiking terrain, as well as quiet and free! We hiked from the boat launch up to the top of the dam!

  Have hiked this in all seasons. Some pretty good trails to keep the hiker busy. Mountain bikes also frequent the trails from time to time. There is a disc course that attracts quite a few and fisherman can be seen on and off the lake, casting their lines in. Great place for rest or picnic. Enjoy!

  It was a beautiful park absolutely huge too. I wish they had more main entrances but it is what is. I enjoyed the many hiking trails and the waterfall was amazing.

+1 570-945-3239. Large lake, quiet and serene. Trails for hiking could be marked much better. Overall this park is very nice. My only suggestion would be better marked park entrances and trail maps by the parking lots. Prompton State Park — Park in Prompton. We are glad to greet you!
