I met with Kailee to prepare for my first labor and delivery. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the physiology of birth and has worked with me at every stage of pregnancy to help my body cope with the challenges of each trimester and the final challenge of labor. The exercises she gives are dynamic and responsive to your body's changing needs during pregnancy. I felt like I could bring any physical difficulty to her and she'd give me an exercise, stretch, or massage technique tailored to correcting that issue. I'm also super grateful for her help with pushing techniques, pelvic floor relaxation, and breathing practice as I near my due date. I can't recommend her enough and am looking forward to working with her in the postpartum stage!
I highly recommend Resilient Motherhood for full body/mind support in the postpartum period. After giving birth to my second child, I noticed that my core and back were very weak, prohibiting me from moving freely. Working with Dr. Kailee is just what I needed to heal my core and back from two pregnancies and deliveries. I am now able to engage in more difficult exercises, along with caring for and holding my babies, without pain or discomfort. Not only does the PT work wonders, but we always had fun talking and chatting at our PT sessions. Thank you, Resilient Motherhood!
Dr. Kailee has been paramount to my postpartum recovery. I have rheumatoid arthritis and suffer from chronic pain that has been increased postpartum. She listens and helps me target my direct areas of pain each session while also teaching me where and why the pain is happening. I’ve been able to use pain medications less and my exercises more to help my discomfort. She also taught me the correct way to push during delivery which aided in my goal of a natural childbirth. She treats the whole body and mind, not just one targeted problem or ailment. I cannot recommend her enough!
Resilient Motherhood helped me so much with my lower back pain. I was in horrible, horrible pain when I came there and Gretchen had me feeling 75% better after 2 visits! The personalized care I received was incredible and she truly listens to your needs and you are her top priority. She was not just your Dr while you were there. She gave her cell phone number and was available anytime (within reason) to answer questions about exercises or about things I was feeling after my appointment. She even worked on my neck frequently during appointments to help me with chronic migraines. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not take insurance and I know from experience that they can still practice the same accepting insurance vs not. I felt I had to chose between my health and my finances and eventually had to stop going bc I couldn’t afford to keep paying out of pocket. I went for 12 visits, but still needed so much more. My issues must just be that deeply rooted and chronic. It’s been about 6 months since stopping (maybe more) and I’m still in need of pelvic floor therapy, but have to go where my insurance is accepted. If money isn’t an issue or your problems can be fixed in a short period of time don’t look anywhere else. You will not receive better care then here!
I had a great experience working with Kailee to get my abs and pelvic floor working together properly postpartum after my first pregnancy, and she gave me some easy tips that helped me stay relatively pain free during my second pregnancy. I easily recommend her to anyone. She is a wealth of knowledge, a calming presence, and a pleasure to be around.
