Great place for all levels of training. It's a welcoming environment for everyone. Weather you are looking to get in shape, learn how to defend your self, or become a high level competitor. This is a place you can find it .
I can not say enough great things about high ground. The coaches are great they take the time to work with you and explain things in a manner you can understand. Everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly and everyone there wants to see you succeed. Its truly been a great experience there since I have stepped on the mat. Keep up the great work guys you guys are the best around!!!
Tom and Pat are great instructors. They take time to talk to students and parents. I've trained in various martial arts and it's been 10+ years since I rolled around on a mat as a combative instructor. The students range from beginners to advanced and are great to roll around with. My son enjoyed his experience with his mma/bjj class taught by Tom and can't wait for the next class.
Great and skillful training from Professor Tommy Costa and his staff. Taking my 8 year old with no prior training in martial arts, High Ground was a perfect fit. They make it super fun for them, while receiving quality BJJ and MMA training...Training they’ll keep for life. No one is left out or made to feel inadequate. Highly recommend.
I have traveled to many different Martial Art gyms along the East Coast and I have to say High Ground Jiu-Jitsu is one of the best facilities I have ever been too. They specialize in Jiu-Jitsu Grappling but offer classes in Mix Martial Arts as well. The classes give you the feeling as though it's personalized towards you and the instructors take the time to meet with every student to make sure you understand the concept and purpose of everything they teach. They have Gi and no Gi classes to study from and open mat days where Martial Artist can get together and work on what they've learned. The environment is really safe and the people who go there create a family like atmosphere which is very welcoming and makes the classes more exciting. I would recommend High Grounds Jiu-Jitsu to anybody.
