(January 14, 2022, 10:50 am)Excellent. It's a fine edge with being a Vet. They have to not only treat the horse but also educate and listen to the owners. Some owners just want a Vet to 'fix' a problem. Others, like me, not only want to fix the issue but understand how to prevent and/or rehabilitate. That takes time.
Allegheny Equine makes the time.
Another thing I truly appreciate is that their practice doesn't push testing, diagnostic testing if they don't feel its necessary.
Sometimes an ultrasound is called for, sometimes it isn't. I'd prefer to reserve my cash for what is needed down the line and I appreciate the upfront honesty.
Overall, a solid A.
