UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics - Mountain View

The entire staff at Mountainview has always been efficient, kind and extremely competent. Dr. Mowery has gone above and beyond in the care he has provided for our son. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better pediatric care team!

I love this pediatrician. I have been using this pediatrician since my son was born. They actually visited him in the hospital daily during his hospital stay. I use Dr. Mowery specifically, he’s the best doctor I have ever come across. If I was able to use a pediatrician I would go to him myself. He is very thorough and extremely personable. He can make any child comfortable. My son is scared of the doctors office already, but Dr. Mowery always takes his time to make the child comfortable and to make sure medically they are thoroughly evaluated. I will be keeping my child through this office till he’s an adult. I’m very glad I made the decision to try this pediatrician out.

The level of care and treatment here is everything you want from a pediatricians office. Nearly every doctor/PA/nurse we see would be given 5 stars if rated individually. Several friends who bring their children here prefer different doctors than we do. This shows that the diverse personalities of the staff match the diverse personalities of the patients/families. We can often call and get a same day appointment if the need is there. In the waiting room they have separate areas for sick and well visits. Numerous exams rooms have colorful scenes painted on one wall. Wether routine or sick, simple it complex, we truly trust that the staff here will give our children the best care and keep our minds at ease.

I absolutely love this Peditrician’s office. My first child I chose a different pediatric clinic. I switch to this office from other Mother’s recommendations. Everyone who works here is very friendly. The medical staff is very thorough with my children. They take the time to treat my kids with the appropriate actions. When I feel like a crazy paranoid mother they always take time to reassure me I’m just a mother! Will recommend this office to anyone and everyone
