“I had originally gone there after a kayak trip, nearby. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible day. The food is very good and reasonably priced but the ice cream/custard was even better. There is something for everyone, even a menu for the little ones. There is plenty of seating in the back and it's very clean. The staff is kind and helpful. The only drawback I had was, they don't take credit/debit cards. It's a gem, a seasonal one, but a gem nonetheless.”

“While in the area for business, a group of four of us went to this place based on a "local's" recommendation. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DINING PLEASURE! We all tried the French Onion Soup - it's a must try... We had different entrees but all were large portions for the price. The steak medallions I had was a much larger order than I expected. They were perfectly prepared, and the beef was so tender. The baked potatoes were "real" and cooked through-and-through. Other side dishes were just as good. Couple this with a basket of homemade bread and a good selection of beer, mixed drinks, and other beverages and it was the best dinner I have had in a long time. The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff is exceptional. I just wish I lived closer to enjoy this place more often!”
