“Camping at GPSP site 162. We camped here in mid Oct and the weather was great. The sites in the stretch we were on initially seem small, but are actually just right. There is a nice gravel pad for the tent, our 18×10 tent went over the edge a bit, but it is not a raised pad so all was good. Despite neighbors being close we did not feel cramped. Bath houses are nice and clean, hot water in the shower. It's a large campground, so lots of walking or biking around it, and there are nice hiking trails without need to drive to them, but also a lot to explore from the other side of the lake too. Very nice lake for kayaking, rentals available. Our second time there, we will return.”

“Wrightsville Commons Park is located along the Susquehanna River with a great view of the river an the Veterans Memorial Bridge. This park is right next to the John Wright Restaurant and has picnic tables and a boat launching area. The park has interpretive panels telling history of Wrightsville and a view of Bridge piers which are remnants of the Civil War bridge burning of 1863. This park is a good place for fishing, birdwatching, launching canoes/kayaks, photography, and sightseeing along the Susquehanna River.”

“As an animal healthcare worker I can say this is one of the best dog parks I have personally been to! Missing one star because some people just don’t know how to manage their uncontrolled dogs and the park security takes a while to come once called say a fight broke out like I have experienced only once thankfully. Size is great and fence is secure and high (although escape artists may be able to jump it if they tried) If you run out of your water you can refill it by the gate/opening. They have shade, benches, hills, flat land, trails and so much more!”

“Bike ride through there and then down to route 30 in York. Decent variation in scenery and some hills. Park is really nice and well maintained. Have also taken my dog to the dog park which was very nice, and had a birthday party for one of my kids there in the past. Lots to do.”

“I met with Sandra Harrison and Jason Querry who are both running for office and used this building. It is quite nice. I recommend this building when you need a small place for a meeting and/or a small party. The kitchen is nice and has a refrigerator. It is worth looking into”

“Love mountain biking hiking and reading here such a peaceful place love the trails nature and you'll meet some great people here. I try to go atleast once a week. They take care of the trails and parks great. Lots of trails and things to do. The Christmas lights every year and a must to go see. All around an awesome place”

“This is a small RV park. The people who run it are very friendly. They are able to handle fairly large RV's at this location. They have spots with power hookup. I did not see any with water but I did not check so you may need to call ahead first to confirm. The spots have enough room for you to also park a car next to your spot so you do not need to worry about pulling out every day.”

“I love to go walking here! Very nice park! There is a playground on the upper side for children. Only one way in or out as its fenced in so its safe to let your children explore, but then you have to deal with some rude or pushy kids who don't want to wait their turn, and the parents are off socializing instead of watching their kids.. I stayed right with my grandchildren when I took them here..”
