i have been a patient of Joseph for over 40 years,and now his son Jad.both are excellent in their field,and i have the utmost faith in them. i have never been treated with anything but professional and courteous service

I'm not sure why there are negative posts on this page, I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. Also, I urge you to remember that ophthalmology is a specialty all it's own. If you have an emergency and you lose your vision, you will want a doctor who is responsive and available as well as genuine and kind.

Here is my story and the reason why I highly recommend this office.

It's one thing to have to go to the eye doctor to get new glasses and another when you can't see. Well I was in the latter category. For 4.5 weeks I was having some issues with my eyes. I wrote it off as some infection and grabbed some drops from my primary care provider. They didn't work.
I developed intolerable eye pain over the weekend that I just couldn't tolerate, I headed to Miriam Hospital Emergency room. Nothing against my emergency room family (I have worked there for 10 years as an RN) but they don't know eyes like the opthamologist!
They called Dr Osmanski and let him know what was going on and sent me home with medication. They also sent me with Dr Osmanski's phone number. Later that night the pain became severe once again. I called Dr Osmanski, and he ANSWERED the phone. I've worked in medicine for 16 years and doctors don't give out their cell phones or actually answer them! He ordered another ointment and advised me to call him next time before going to the ER and he would see me at his home (It was a Sunday).
His office was very polite when I called the next day even though I couldn't make the Monday appointment because I'm a Nurse Practitioner student and I had clinical that day. I know I sounded crazy as I really was having trouble with my vision and I was putting off the appointment (NP school isn't all that forgiving).
I went in today and saw his son Jab this morning. He explained everything in detail (and attached everyday analogies to the medical rationale) as well as being kind and considerate during the exam as my eyes were so sensitive. For the first time in 4 weeks I can see a little bit better this evening and the pain is significantly decreased. He said it would take some time to see clearly again but it will happen.
Thank You to the Osmanski Crew- Dr Jab, Mrs Osmanski, and Dr. Osmanski. You are the zebra's among the horses:) I am so grateful for all of you! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
