(February 17, 2020, 12:30 pm)My father has been to Elmhurst 5 times for short term rehabilitation since 2015 and I would NEVER have him go to another short term nursing facility. The rehab program at Elmhurst is wonderful - the team always makes this 96 year old man good as new! He's like a whole new man every time he gets back home - cooking, cleaning, walking around - FULL USE OF HIS LEGS! The care he receives and the attentiveness of the nursing/dietician staff- you can't ask for anything more. I tell EVERYONE to come to Elmhurst!
(February 14, 2020, 1:39 pm)My stay at Elmhurst was top-notch in my books! Everyone treated me so wonderfully - from morning, mid-day, night crew - everybody. I came after surgery and was ready to heal, the therapists took me into their blessed hands and made me better. As a former restaurateur, the activities department even set me up to get a tour of the kitchen w/ head-chef Tiago; showed me every inch of the kitchen top to bottom. Elmhurst was an absolute pleasure and I will tell everyone to come here.
(February 14, 2020, 1:12 pm)I will miss the food! Mt rehab was great and I sleepy at night beautifully! Got home a week earlier than my Dr. predicted. Proud of myself!
(October 1, 2019, 4:46 pm)My husband had knee replacement surgery. He went to Elmhurst for rehab services. The care that he received was excellent. We were very pleased and grateful with the excellent quality of service from all those involved. I will highly recommend this facility to friends and family . Thank you all at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Nursing.
(July 29, 2019, 3:42 pm)To see my Father go from a strong, vibrant man to a helpless patient was heartbreaking. The stroke was devastating. Through 6 weeks of PT/OT and Speech, he was able to become the strong, independent man he was again. The Staff at Elmhurst was empathetic and thoughtful and helped him recover w/ dignity and grace. For that my family is entirely grateful.
