Very nice place. VERY rugged, a lot of climbing over/ up and down a lot of rocks. We walked for about 45 minutes and never found the waterfall. Very nice hike if you are prepared for the terrain.
Great hike. Beautiful scenery!!!
Really great place! My dog loved it.
Lots of out croppings and pretty little waterfall. 0.91 miles.
Great spot for a nice little hike. Sure wish people would stop leaving their trash in the parking lot. PUT IT WHERE IT BELONGS!
Ken and his wife. Bettie, laid out the trail in this area and named it for a lovely, gurgling little brook that cascades down a ledge in all but the driest seasons. Ken Weber was a Rhode Island journalist and nature writer. He worked for the Providence Journal and wrote a weekly nature article until his death...
The Ken Weber Conservation Area at Cascade Brook can be found off of Mapleville Road. Follow the sign for Village at Waterman Lake until the paved roadway ends. You should then see the sign for the conservation area.
Contact: (401) 682-2424. Holiday Acres Camp Grounds can be found in the northern region of the state, not too far from some of Rhode Island's most popular attractions, such as Wicked Tulips Flower Farm, Snake Den State Park, and the Ken Weber Conservation Area at Cascade Brook.
