I feel so lucky to live in Fort Mill. These officers go out of their way to make sure we feel safe. They are knowledgable about each neighborhood and take pride in not only responding to emergencies, but being proactive about creating safe communities. They have some incredibly patient officers. I hope if I ever have an emergency, I'm here in Fort Mill.

While waiting for an Uber after a wedding, an officer pulled up and asked what we were doing. I said, "getting an Uber, unless you'd like to take us home." So he did. Gave us a free ride home. I didn't catch his name, but you know who you are. Thank you very much.

Lived here 20 years. Every encounter with Ft Mill PD has been positive. From checking car seats, investigating fraud, traffic accident, safety check (pulled over), to name a few. Every officer was professional and helpful.
Thank You for all you do to protect us

My experience with the Fort Mill Police, although I wish I had not had any reason, was a very promising one. My daughter made a poor decision and was given a citation. Instead of treating her as another number, she was actually given the opportunity to research and hand write a two page paper on the possible outcomes of her actions if continued as it pertains to her charge and community service, which in my opinion teaches far more and stays with far longer than paying a fine. Judge David Wood did reside over her case and was the most personable, caring yet stern person of authority that I have witnessed. He actually had a conversation with my daughter, not talked at her. As well, Sgt Nathan Clark went above all to show his care and compassion and willingness to teach instead of punish which to me is a lasting lesson. I truly appreciate the fact that there are people in authority that do still CARE and do offer lessons when possible. I am sure not all situations have the same outcome but for myself and my daughter, they are truly appreciated.
