Ignore the negative reviews …. they are from folks that haven’t done buisness with him for years!

They were awesome. He changed oils, spark plugs, belts, and engine flush, and repaired the seat on both of my riding lawnmowers for under $200.00 !

For the 2022 grass-cutting season, I had planned on buying a new riding mower, but thanks to production delays and supply chain issues, I was told by two dealers that I wouldn’t be able to buy one until November 2022! With this unexpected (and disappointing) news, I was forced into a situation where I had to have my old mower serviceable for another season.

I had been taking my 22-year-old Craftsman riding mower to another small engine shop in Rock Hill since we moved to the area in 2019. On the recommendation of my neighbor, who had used Greg’s for many years, and had nothing but positive things to say about their service (he even told my neighbor when it was no longer cost effective to repair her mower), I decided to call Greg’s about replacing my lawnmower blades.

Due to having to rent a trailer to transport my lawnmower, I didn’t arrive at the shop until about 4:15 (they close at 5:00pm). When Greg came out to greet me, he asked if I would be able to pick up my mower the following day, since there was no room for him to store my mower for an extended period of time. When I said I couldn’t pick it up the following day (due to my wife’s birthday being that day), Greg, without hesitation, offloaded my riding mower, drove it directly into his shop/garage, hoisted the front end off the floor, and within minutes had removed the old mower blades and installed the new ones! Greg even adjusted the bent mower deck to ensure the new blades wouldn’t make contact with the deck! He then reloaded my mower back onto the trailer, and by the time I had it secured on the trailer he had my invoice ready for payment.

I was so blown away by the quick turn-around, and the fact that I would not have to rent the trailer a second time to come back and pick-up my mower (saving me precious dollars and time), that I TRIED to give Greg a tip, but he adamantly refused it.

Suffice to say, thanks to a strong recommendation by my neighbor, and an overwhelmingly positive experience (that FAR exceeded my expectations), I will not be taking my old mower anywhere else!
