The third mechanic I tried was Porter Car Care, and I will look no farther. I get straight forward answers, and the prices are unfair to my advantage. When something is beyond their abilities due to lack of equipment, they tell me, and they include the good, the bad, and the ugly in the reports on my vehicle. This lets me know they are honest. I love them so much, I bragged about them to my uncle in Pennsylvania, a master mechanic who is the basis for my judgments of all mechanics.”

“Originally went to their competitor across the street. I needed all the bulbs for my headlights that got shattered in a deer accident. I was having a tough time finding what I needed plus I had 2 kids with me. After I finally found what I needed they only had single packs I needed double packs. Asked if they had the double pack of lights in the back. Was told what you see is what we got. Ok I told them well can you at least honor the double pack price they said no. I felt like I was bothering them and was surprised I wasn't offered a better resolution. So I go across the street to O'Reilly the young man at the counter with the shaved head help me find exactly what I needed quickly and efficiently and the the O'Reilly price was actually cheaper which saved me some money. Also the older lady with the glasses also appeared to have excellent customer service skills as she was helping other people with their needs and had a pleasant attitude the whole time. If you appreciate good customer service forget the other places O'Reilly will help you out.”

“I purchased a 2009 Ford Ranger truck from this dealership July 1, 2019 and had a very good experience. I was looking for an inexpensive used truck and had one unique requirement; I wanted one with a manual transmission, and nothing else would do. I simply enjoy shifting gears and had not had a straight drive vehicle in about 16 years. Come hell or high water I was going to have another one. Turns out they are hard to come by. Anyway this one had low mileage (67000) and was priced decently. It was serviced nicely, had new tires and some very nice rims to boot. It was certainly worth the trip from Myrtle Beach to Lancaster (a place I lived briefly years ago). Buying a used vehicle is always risky to some degree, bit this one turned out good, and I would definitely recommend the dealership.”

“I am from Georgia and visiting my mom in Lancaster, SC for a few days. We just discovered her older car (2001 Toyota Camry with 176,000+ miles) had an exhaust leak and a missing wheel lug bolt. I showed up at M and M Garage this morning with Mom’s car to see if they could fix both. They quoted me a price and then did did the work - I was out of the shop in less than an hour! The receptionist were great and the mechanics awesome. I would highly recommend this shop and will be taking my mom’s car here if anything else ever crops up. P.S. A Toyota dealership in Matthews, North Carolina quoted us a price of almost $2000 to fix both of these things... we ended up paying less than 10% of that here - THANK YOU M and M Garage for making my mom’s car safe again without breaking the bank!”
