  The emu jerky was very good - It was less gamey than expected, and surprisingly similar to my memory of beef. The smoked chicken was exceptional, and the best I've ever had. Looking forward to the sous-vide duck and duck bacon tips!

  After being diagnosed with Alpha Gal, I found this farm. Owned and operated by someone who also has alpha-gal, I was immediately enamored. Their product is extremely high quality, extremely reasonably priced (Emu meat at other sources is far more expensive) and their customer service is phenomenal!
  
  I was having an issue with a shipment (Fedex had a glitch on their system that doubled the price of my order, which triggered a signature being required); I called Amaroo after their closing time as I live on the West Coast and they answered. After explaining that Fedex refused to change the delivery address to either my job or their depot, and that I would have to take off of work to sign for this the gentleman on the phone asked if he could call me back in five.
  
  Well, he in fact did call me back, and with fedex on the line as well! He got fedex to hold the package at my local depot, so I didn't have to miss a day of work. Today he contacted me again to let me know that the package was confirmed by fedex to be at the depot waiting for my arrival! I thanked him for the effort he put in, only to find out that it was the owner himself that answered the phone and did all of this work to hep me out!
  
  So thank you, Amaroo and Mr. Nguyen! You are fantastic, and I will continued to buy from you for all my Alpha-Gal friendly red meat needs!

  I have had alpha-gal since 2017 and I was growing weary of eating just chicken and turkey so my husband encouraged me to try emu and duck. I am so, so pleased and impressed with the ground emu, emu filet, and duck bacon that I ordered. My order was delivered as promised, and the meat is absolutely amazing! No gamey taste and it really took care of my craving for a juicy steak, and slice of bacon! If you're on the fence, jump on over and give Amaroo a try. You will NOT regret it!

  I have many food allergies and have enjoyed and done well with Amaroo Hills' emu and duck for several years. When I had an allergy problem with ground duck recently, although I did not expect to receive an answer, I told them by using the contact form on their website. I received a kind phone call from the owner, and he researched what had happened to cause me to react. The problem was that the grinder had not been cleaned well between chicken (which I am allergic to) and the duck. He offered to exchange the remaining duck I had for an equal weight of duck breasts. This is like exchanging hamburger for rib-eye steak! He shipped me duck breast and enclosed a shipping label to use to send the ground duck back.
  
  This is customer care "above and beyond" what I have experienced from any other business, which definitely cost Amaroo Hills financially. I hope the good treatment given to me by the owner will be abundantly rewarded with NEW CUSTOMERS due to this review.
