Cumberland Heights - ARCH Academy

I am so thankful that we found Arch Academy. My son has been to 3 different programs and Arch has made the largest impact on his recovery.

The staff is by far the most professional I have experienced and you can tell that they truly care about my son’s health (mental & physical).

My son has been at Arch for 3 months and the turnaround has been remarkable. The staff have really connected with my son and been able to guide him to recovery. There are also a lot of activities that the kids can participate and make their time at Arch more enjoyable.

My son’s relationships within our family have been dramatically improved as well.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but I will be eternally grateful for the foundation that Arch has laid.

I would recommend Arch without hesitation and wish I would have found them earlier. A great choice.

Arch Academy has been a blessing to our son and our family. Sending our son out of state for treatment was a very difficult but necessary decision. We had tried two different PHP programs in addition to an in state residential facility. From our initial point of contact through our sons stay at Arch they have exceeded our expectations. Staff are professional, knowledgeable and truly care about the residents. Our son connected immediately with his counselor Kenny who has been amazing. The program has a strong 12-step foundation that resonated with our son. We also attended a two-day parent education program which was very helpful to us as parents. Family sessions are part of the treatment program which have been tremendously helpful in restoring our family. In addition to the recovery work our son has been able to stay on track with schoolwork and excel. All staff that we have had contact with have gone above and beyond. It is apparent that they truly care and are passionate about recovery. My only regret is that we did not find Arch sooner. Arch will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will be forever grateful.

Not knowing where to turn we called Cumberland Heights for guidance with our teen son. They connected us with their adolescent division, Arch Academy. The services offered by Arch Academy were exactly what our son needed to choose sobriety and change his life chooses for the better. We will be forever grateful to everyone that contributed to his recovery!

Sending our son to ARCH was the toughest decision we ever had to make. Addiction hit our family and we felt like our lives were spinning out of control. We knew we were not able to give our son the help that he needed at home. He spent 2 months at ARCH. He was angry at us at first for sending him there but now understands that we were trying to save his life and our family. His primary counselor was really able to connect with him and was very supportive and guided us through the whole process. During his stay we had weekly check-ins with our son and weekly 1 hour family therapy sessions with him and his primary counselor. At times these sessions were tough but taught all of us how to communicate more effectively with each other. The 2-day family workshop was very educational and allowed us to connect with other families in the same situation which was extremely helpful. We are very grateful for everything ARCH has done for our son and our family. Our son is home now and he is working on his outpatient program. We know to take it one day at a time. We feel like ARCH saved his life and gave him the tools he needs to live a healthy, happy and productive life.

Our son needed help and so did our family. We were all under the addiction spell and felt overwhelmed and at a loss for hope. Sending our son to Arch House was a life changing decision. Our son was cared for and his health and mental issues were treated. He was happy to be there and wanted to continue to get better. As a family, we were given therapy and support. There are not enough words to explain how wonderful the team at Arch is and how much we appreciated them each and every day. We have a healthy family now...the choice to believe in Arch was the right choice. We will be forever grateful for all of the support, skills, and kindness we were given.
