We try to eat most every Friday afternoon at Liz's because they serve catfish nuggets,which are smaller pieces of their BIG slices of catfish. The food here is home cooked. Their broccoli salad is awesome! They have a special every day and a cafeteria bar or you can sit down and order. Food is always fresh and desserts are wonderful. Check it out. They serve breakfast and lunch every day except Saturdays when they are closed. Friday they are also open for evening meal. No other place quite like it.

We love this little restaurant. Not living in the area we can only get it when driving through but we'll plan to eat here if it's within an hour or so of lunch time. I love the catfish and the sides are always perfectly done. This isn't gourmet by any means, its a good solid meat and three. Portions are generous and the staff is efficient and accommodating. You won't be sorry you stopped!

Very good Southern soul food kitchen. Catfish & ribs are especially good. Really like the hot (jalepeno) cornbread. Awesome turnip greens & boiled cabbage. REAL mashed potatoes. (They don't try to pass off fake "seasoned up" potato flakes here!) Great place for breakfast too.

Edited to add: Also, try their Chicken & Dressing on a Sunday afternoon. True Southern Cornbread dressing, wonderfully seasoned. It's just like my momma taught me how to make, a true, Southern, traditional cornbread dressing. But, when I order from Liz's, I get all the tasty goodness without me having to do the work of cookin' & cleaning up the kitchen. This is my fav treat on Sunday after church. Thanks for doing the cooking for me !

I never get disappointed. Great variety of food. To go packaged nicely always. No leaks and condiments, tartar sauce, etc packaged correctly. On nice days I take mine to go and eat at pea park across st since work near. No straight out of the can veggies there.
