EDIT: Rent prices have increased. See bottom of review.
I lived here a year and a half and moved out in April of 2022. My stay here was great for a few reasons:
Good:
- Quiet/Safe neighborhood
- Walkable/Runnable
- Close to Percy Warner Park
- Close to Highway 70, but not too close
- 10-20 minutes away from Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin (barring traffic)
- Reliable/Quick Maintenance
Bad:
- Floors started to squeak really badly (maintenance was able to fix this eventually)
- Small fitness center
We payed $1200/month for a top floor apartment. If you choose Legacy Hill, just be sure to pick a top floor apartment because some units had extremely squeaky floors during our time there. Also inquire about why rent rose from the price of $1200 for a 1 bedroom.
It’s been a few years since I moved, but I lived in Legacy Hill for 2.5 years. Other than dealing with some neighbors and their kids running back and for above me, I thought it was a great apartment. Maintenance was always quick with any repairs, and while I wasn’t a huge fan of living in Nashville, I felt comfortable in my apartment. It felt like home.
My experience with Legacy hills has been great. I lived here for a year and now relocating because of work. The maintenance staff is so quick and efficient in addressing your needs in less than 24hrs. Clara in the main office is really friendly and makes you feel at home by listening and addressing any questions/concerns you may have. The Smart app works promptly. With the smart door lock system, I never had to worry about taking and then eventually forgetting my door keys and locking myself out, which I have often done in the past ;) Overall, I highly recommend this complex!
The staff here has been very helpful and all of my maintenance issues have been addressed quickly. The location is great, less than a mile to Percy Warner park and 2 miles from grocery stores. I enjoy the sound of the bird song out my windows and the way the morning light filters through the trees. Clara the resident manager is awesome and has a great smile and warm personality. The 2 main downsides, from my perspective, is they should have put a basketball hoop on the unused tennis courts and they need to have more activities to make this place seem more of a community. Also, it would be good if the residents of the place had a common place to communicate, perhaps and online bulletin board and a physical bulletin board.
