(March 23, 2018, 12:49 pm)2011 335d leaking coolant: Dealership service diagnosed coolant leak as head gasket leak. Solution: Remove head gasket, send to machine shop for repair, replace head gasket. Itemized diagnostic $7900+. This was to remove and replace head gasket, and did not include machine shop cost. Estimated repair between $8k and $10k.
Welch replaced a flange that had cracked.
Cost: $850.
