(December 27, 2019, 11:34 pm)Family oriented, with lots of roots and history, in the heart of north-west Nashville (depending on where you are from). Recommend for any activity that is available, for any age. No matter, what's going on in the street, this is a safe place. Staff is always friendly and great with kids. (Summer and after school program is offered along with opportunity and exposure.) They also offer Rejoice ballet here.
(December 5, 2019, 11:12 pm)They have changed this place for the better and it shows with the tennis court the brand new center that’s a great place to go for seniors and this location has a good impact on the community.
(November 6, 2019, 10:24 pm)By far the best courts I've seen in person. I live in Houston and there's nothing like a set of indoor tennis courts, if I lived here in Nashville.... The staff would have to remove me physically because I'd live on the courts lol. Jk
(November 12, 2017, 7:36 am)The 35th Annual African Street Festival, hosted by the African American Cultural Alliance, was AWESOME. The them was "Strengthen Our Family." We attended on Saturday. It was not overcrowded, they had a variety of interesting vendors in attendance as well as live music, dancing, and lots of food from around the world. In addition to entertainment activities, there were free health screenings, a children's area, voter registration center, etc available. It was a very well attended activity. We are looking forward to next year's festival.
