-I walked in to get flu tested at 5:30 - prime time for people getting off work and picking up kids.
-I waited until 6:00 to be seen. That is Not a long time at a walk-in clinic; I’ve had to wait hours at other clinics. It is what it is.
-I explained that I needed a flu test so that I could be cleared to return to work. The staff listened to me, tested me and did the standard exam.
-When it was time for my prescription, the nurse practitioner explained the difference in my options: pricing and side effects.
-Then we talked about the practical side of this: how to parent and not get my kids sick.
-This is top-quality care. Thank you.
