Had such a great experience getting our 7-week olds tongue and lip tie released with this office. They were so welcoming and professional. Dr. Kennedy is very thorough and explained everything we needed to know. We were in and out within the hour and the actual procedure was very quick & my baby was happy for that. Would highly recommend this office to anyone with the same issue!

I figured my daughter had a tongue or lip tie when she was about 2 months old and wasn’t gaining weight like she should (along with a few other symptoms). I had been breast feeding since she was born and wanted to continue doing so. I learned that pediatricians are often not trained in diagnosing oral ties and that’s when a friend recommended Dr. Kennedy. I took her the day after her 2 month check up. Dr. Kennedy and his staff were amazing. They listened to my concerns, empathized, and made me feel heard. I opted to have her ties released that day and it changed everything. Within two weeks she’d gained almost two pounds and was happier than ever, so was I! About a month later I noticed a couple of her symptoms had returned, very mildly. (No one’s fault, it happens). I made her a recheck appointment and her tongue had to be released one more time. (They offer one year of coverage in case this happens even though it’s very rare) again he was amazing and so is his assistant! She was so sweet every time! I did not feel pressured into doing it again but I did feel supported in my decision. Over all I 10/10 recommend Clarksville tongue tie clinic. I’m so grateful to be able to breast feed my daughter pain free and her be able to gain weight like she’s supposed to! I’ll never be able to thank them enough- a scared first time mom!

I’d give a million stars if I could. We originally came in 2yrs ago with our 4month old. We’d been to lactation consultants, NP’s, talked to family/friends, googled, and finally his Peds dr said go to Dr. Kennedy because he has a lip tie. We were told by others to just let it stretch out, it was a frivolous procedure, etc. I’m telling you though as a breastfeeding momma… IT IS NOT! It can affect so much more than you even realize. Oh my word if I knew the difference afterwards, I would’ve gone so much sooner. We’d had 4 months of “cycling”; nursing for 20-40mins until he passed out, sleeping for 20-40mins waking up, spitting up and then starting it all over again through out most of the day and night. I was in so much pain, he was not eating or sleeping well and laundry was crazy because of all the spitting up. After seeing Dr. Kennedy though our lives were changed. Dr. Kennedy and the tongue tie center not only fixed his significant lip tie, but also diagnosed his tongue tie that he had (no one had even told us). He fixed both at the same time and we had a 180 degree change in our baby. There was an immediate difference but after about a week he was just a completely different baby and our nursing experience was so different in such a good way. I was no longer bleeding and in pain and he stopped cycling completely. His acid reflux was gone, (which Dr. Kennedy is the only reason I even knew that could be associated with his tongue & lip tie). And now we have an almost two week old and as soon as he latched I instantly knew it was there. I made the appt in the hospital. Dr. Kennedy and his amazing staff saw our newest addition today and yet again instant change. They are absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t recommend any other place to take your kiddos. Now all 4 of our boys are patients of Dr. Kennedy’s at Spring Creek Dentistry and 2 of them have been tongue & lip tie success stories at Clarksville Tongue Tie Center. Thank you Dr. Kennedy and your absolutely amazing staff for all y’all do! 😊😁🙌

Dr Kennedy is an actual life saver. My child was born severely tongue tied and had it “clipped” by his doctor on post (who doesn’t really seem to think that tongue ties are actual issues? But will address it if it’s severe). For the next 3 months, we continued to struggle with nursing issues and my baby who was born over the 90th percentile continued to drop in weight until he was below 20. All that time, no one on post seemed to think it was an problem and no recommendations were made. I tried supplementing with formula and expressed milk, but he struggled with a bottle too. After seeking help from an off post lactation consultant, it was suggested to me that my baby was still tongue tied. We called Dr Kennedy right away and were able to get in within a week (the early morning, desperate mom appointments they try to have available!!)

This wasn’t the end of our issues, but it was the beginning of a solution. We also worked with OT/SLP following the tongue tie revision and my son gained weight. He is now in the 75% just 4 months later.

Tongue tie runs in my family and I plan to have an eval scheduled with Dr K whenever I have another child.

My 1 year old daughter just had her very first regular dentist visit today. We have trusted Dr Kennedy and Spring Creek with our daughter’s oral care since she was just 8 weeks old and had tongue and lip tie revisions at the Tongue Tie Center. My daughter had poor weight gain and we were supplementing with bottles of formula prior to the revision and now we have made it 1 year still breastfeeding with amazing weight gain! We never would’ve made it here without Dr Kennedy’s great work, and that’s why we wanted to start her early with her twice yearly dental visits. I love the energy at the facility; everyone seems genuinely enthusiastic about the care that they provide. Today she had her teeth brushed by a very patient hygienist and Dr Kennedy applied a fluoride treatment. When we left they gave us a goodie bag and a developmentally appropriate toy for my daughter. I will continue to book all of her appointments here and recommend them to anyone!!
