Poole Knobs Campground

Very well maintained campground. all utilities functioned as expected. Office staff have been amazing. Professional, courteous, helpful. Both the Lakeshore and wooded sites are wonderful. We'll be back for sure

We stayed here a week and loved it, large private space right on the lake where we swam and fished and soaked up sun on floats.

What a beautiful place to camp. Our site was right on the water. Beautiful lake and many group sites. Great place and only 42 min. from Nashville.

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. The campground is secluded and peaceful; many of the sites are on the lake. The campground feels very safe. I also enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake both nights.

My neighbors were a bit loud, partying into the late night, but I know that’s not the fault of the grounds. The only real con for this place is that the bathrooms are quite the trek from many of the campsites…if you have a camper, that’s not an issue, but if you are tent camping like I was, be prepared to either drive to the bathrooms or take a long walk!
