Matt Walter Golf

Matt’s great as alway! He’s been the perfect fit for both of my boys. He has an amazing ability to express his knowledge in a way that they understand. If you have a junior golfer, he’s the man to see!

Matt is an excellent teacher. He is currently taking me step-by-step thru how to improve making contact with the ball. Each lesson adds a new drill to develop the next skill required to improve. I drive from Western North Carolina to take lessons from Matt. It is worth the drive.

I had a great first lesson with Matt. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their golf game. We got some baseline video and data from trackman and started to work on 1 aspect of my swing. He took arm measurements and did a grip test and explained how my golf swing will work for me based on how long my arms are and where my grip is strongest. After getting some baselines of my current swing, he explained a few numbers on trackman and we analyzed the video together. We then worked on getting my backswing in a more shallow plane through a few drills and we analyzed the good movements.

I've had lessons outside on the range but indoors with trackman and video are so much more helpful for me to understand what my body is doing.

Coach Matt is a great teacher of the game. He has helped me lower my hdcp from a 14 to an 11 and I expect that trend to continue into single digits. Last lesson I cut some of my time and asked if he would help my wife who was on the range. in 2 mins he helped change her grip and swing path, first swing and she was able to get her irons airborne like never before . She is now asking me when are we going out again. I would recommend Coach Matt to anyone who wants to play better.

Our daughters have worked with Matt and Phillip for several years. They continue to amaze us at how they connect with the juniors they teach, understanding their swing and personality. They have just the right touch to push without being pushy. The improvements have been really fun to watch. We highly recommend them to everyone we talk with, they are a great Team!
