I love working at CCRC! This facility has been home to me since a young child. I would highly recommend family placement at Community Care. Several of my family members have been admitted to Commnuity Care over the years. All together a great place for a rehab/ a place to call home.
I have been a CCRC employee since 2011. Over the years times have changed, as have employees, but one thing remains the same: the love and care given to our residents will always be the number one priority. We truly are a family on the farm.
I could not find where Google Review offers the opportunity for a business, such as CCRC, to respond to Reviews. Maybe I just have overlooked the correct avenue to do so? After a staff member came to me very upset about a recent review I felt it would be fair for CCRC to respond. We, as caregivers, have chosen to work in a very stressful and often times difficult industry – skilled nursing facility or “nursing home” as most people refer. It is an industry that requires a lot of love, skill, patience, tolerance and at times a very “thick skin.” It is, as most people are not aware, the most highly regulated industry in this country. Although we are not perfect – after all we are only human – we love what we do and strive for as close to perfection as we can achieve. Our goal is always to provide the best possible care to those who live with us – whether that is short-term for rehabilitation or for long-term care. The grieving process takes on many forms. We understand that sometimes through grief it is human nature to find someone to blame. Unfortunately, we, as an industry, find ourselves having to bare that blame even when it is not warranted. As the staff members who came to the hospital to visit while your mother was there, who spoke on the phone with you, who attended the visitation held at the funeral home and sent condolences by card because they simply could not attend attempted to convey we loved your mother, took great care of your mother, and will greatly miss your mother. Almost 2 years ago I came to CCRC to lead this facility as the Administrator. In this timeframe we have achieved many goals when it comes to providing high quality resident care. Most recently we have seen the CMS/Medicare 5 star quality rating improve from a 1 star, in all focus areas except staffing, to a 4 star in Health Inspection, Staffing and Overall Rating and a 3 star in Quality Measures. This is a great achievement and does not happen by accident. Our next goal is to reach a 5 star level and to work towards achieving the AHCA Bronze Quality Award. Again, this is from hard work and dedication by the excellent caregivers of Community Care of Rutherford County.
