Fortress Rosecrans

Great Excellent park. Just wish there were signs telling you where you're going. One path led across the street. I wasn't sure if the park was related to the fortress. Another path led me to a dead end. Another lead me into a circle, which wasn't bad, I just wish I knew where I was going

Ita a nice ce place to hike

A nice little walk through the woods on a smooth path and dock system. The history is the special element. I would like to see a small bit uncovered from all the weeds or restored. I would volunteer if others did for such a project!

Beautiful place full of history!

It's awesome to be able to walk around the mounds that were built during the civil war. This section of the Greenway has quite a few information boards that describe the battlefield of Fortress Rosecrans. The paved trails are also cool to run through. (Nice, short scenic running paths)
