Barfield Elementary

I used to attend this school for 5 years, and I loved it. sure, the food could be a little better, but mostly, the staff and teachers are pretty kind. some of the things they taught was a little too easy for me, so I got put in a special education 'club' where they challenged me a bit. i also attended blackman for a short period of time, but liked this school a lot more. the reason I'm giving it four stars is because some of the students there are a little rude, the dress code is literally insane, and kids can cuss each other out on the bus and nobody gets in trouble for it. otherwise, its a fairly good elementary school :)

My children have been attending this school now for 9 years. I've had 2 of my kids go K to 5 already and one that is currently in 2nd. The team members of this school are AMAZING.

My son has attended from Kindergarten, recently completing fifth grade. It will be difficult to move on to middle school after six terrific years. The administration is always involved in school activities. The administration and staff encourage open communications with parents and children to allow quick and effective conflict resolution should any occur. I've love watching Principal Goodwin dance and sing with children at each program every year. The school is child-focused rather than politically motivated, and that has been important in our son's process. I am grateful to have had this top-notch school and staff as part of our educational partnership.

I will say I was a little worried at first but the teachers are great there great communication great principle don't know very much at the vice principal officer Bates is wonderful wonderful with the kids good security have no issues I'm glad I chose the school for my daughter to go to
