RESPONDING TO DEIDRE HALEY: Your husband was seen under a "vision plan" which covers a routine vision exam for the prescription of eye glasses and or contact lenses. "Vision plans" do not cover medical eye care. His initial complaint was ocular foreign body sensation. I asked him if that was what he wanted addressed and explained that his "vision plan" does not cover medical eye care. He elected to receive only the routine vision exam covered under his "vision plan". It was his choice not to receive a medical office visit. The routine exam was performed, he received his eyeglass Rx and I recommended a medical follow-up. If I can help your husband with any further eye care needs, please contact my office. I recently had an appointment with Dr. Schwartz. He was very professional, thorough and personable. His receptionist, Sherry was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice. I had my first visit with Dr. Schwartz a couple of years ago and was pleased so much that I recommended my daughter use his practice as well. I have been seeing Dr. Schwartz since 2005 and he has always been very professional and personable. About 8 years ago I decided to try another eye doctor, only because Dr. Schwartz wasn't a VSP provider. The place I ended up going to tried their best to sell me the latest contacts that were on the market and were more expensive with insurance coverage than without insurance at Dr. Schwartz. I went back to Dr. Schwartz and to my surprise he became a VSP provider. Dr. Schwartz will give you exactly what you need without digging deep in your pockets. I recommended him to my Mother-in-law and she loves him as well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good honest eye doctor

I have gone to Walmart Vision Centers for years and years and have seen multiple doctors all over TN and a few in AR as well. I've been a repeat customer to the Millington establishment and will continue to go there for several more years to come. In my experience, for as many patients that are seen every day, I believe the doctor does a great job keeping on schedule, but being friendly and attentive to my needs at the same time. I've never had a bad experience with him or his staff. In fact I'm the opposite entirely, I recommend my family and friends to go to him.
