The Capstone at Station Camp

I had a chance to take a tour with my wife of the brand-new soon-to-be-open Capstone at Station Camp Senior Living Center in Gallatin, TN. (35 miles north of Nashville). Because we are associated with veteran's organizations that serve older veterans in these types of homes, we have had the opportunity to look at nearly all the senior care centers in this region. Consider us experienced with this industry. We've seen the good and the bad.

We were also there to look at this facility for our own family member who is currently at another senior center in this area. So we were a very interested and engaged reviewers of this property in order to see if it were to be better for our own family member.

Simply put, we were gobsmacked. Capstone has to be one of the finest new facility in Tennessee, if not the entire country. The attention to detail was staggering. It is hard to know where to begin. The rooms were spacious and had amazing details for elderly people. The bathrooms were HUGE...bedroom sized with shower handrails, walk-in closets, a personal mounted safe for valuables, TV mounted on the wall with free subscription to both cable and PREMIUM CHANNELS.

Capstone just hired a fine-dining chef, have a 12-hour a day Bistro for round-the-clock food choices and snacks, if the fine meal choices are not enough. The insulation was incredible. Although Capstone in on the Main Street in the area (Nashville Pike) you could not hear any road noise.

The outdoor facilities were gorgeous to encourage elderly people to get outside. Capstone has taken every measure to prevent Covid contraction including hand-rails with special paint manufactured by Sherman Williams designed to apply just a little bit of hand sanitizer if you touch the rails and a entry way walk-in device that scans your body with ultraviolet light to kill off any bacteria. Amazing!

In short, Capstone got our business. Although not a low-rent facility, the prices were very fair considering the many amenities that we have never seen at any other senior care center.

Capstone is owned by a corporation controlled by the Hunt family, (owners of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs and many other corporations) so no expense has seemingly been spared.

They are scheduling move-ins during the month of April and I would imagine this facility to fill up rapidly. It is one of the nicest senior centers in the country and I would expect every loving family member to be proud to visit their loved ones in the fine establishment.

We have no affiliation with Capstone and this recommendation is being offered willingly to help families making difficult senior care decisions. I hope this recommendation helps you.

Since the time I walked into Capstone at Station Camp I knew that it was the place for my father. Michelle and Nancy have been very helpful as we continue to make plans for him to be at Capstone. I truly look forward to my Dad enjoying the amenities and being happy.

Our salesperson, Michelle, gave my Mom and me a private tour on a day that tours were not being given! She went the extra mile to do that for us because I was only in town for a short period. Michelle has been terrific in working with us to find the right size unit for Mom. I am very excited to know that my Mom is going to move in to such a great place with state of the art features!

I referred a family here, as they wanted a community of the area I service. The family had nothing but fantastic things to say about this community and Director of Sales, Michelle Pace. I love knowing that I can refer to a community where seniors are taken care of such honest and sincere integrity!! Very excited for this community to open soon!!
