Sumner Funeral & Cremation handled my mother in laws arrangements. Randy and his stafff were the epitome of professional and empathetic. They ensured that everything was in order during our time of sorrow. They treated us like family. I cannot say enough good things about this company.
The staff here were so kind and helpful in this most terrible time for me and my family. My mom sister and I went there to take care of the arrangements for my dad who had been in hospice and they were wonderful. Unfortunately my mom had a terrible fall about 2 weeks after that and suffered a traumatic head injury. So 2 weeks later my sister and I were back for my mom’s arrangements. They could not possibly have been more kind or more helpful. I will make my own arrangements with them very soon and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of these services. Absolutely wonderful, very professional and were a great comfort to us!
This funeral home was recommended to me by my father’s hospice nurse. It was very affordable to my husband and me, since my father had no plans for his remains paid for. Joy explained the costs and plan for my father’s remains. She was very sweet and caring. I received a call each time I either needed to pick up paperwork or when his remains were ready to be picked up. Joy and Elizabeth have texted me a few times since then to check on me. I truly appreciate their sincerity!
Sumner Funeral and Cremations was wonderful to our entire family.
Joy was so nice and easy to work with. She knew exactly what we needed and wanted for my father. I being from out of town as is my daughter the entire staff was so nice at conferring with us instead of burdening my mother with all the things that needed to be put in order. If anyone needing to use them for a loved one by all means they have my utmost support. You would not be disappointed by anyone there.
Randa Nash and everyone from Sumner Funeral Home was kind and professional. They were sympathetic to our unique needs. They did not pressure us in any way but instead listened and figured out a way they could help us accomplish our desires for our loved one. They shared lots of options to help us be informed and prepared but left all decisions totally up to our family. Just from attending our services my friends could see what a wonderful place and staff we had the opportunity to work with. Two of them have already reached out to this team for services for their own loved ones. To me that says it all. No one wants to ever need the services of a funeral home or crematory, however, it is part of life. When that time comes to your family I encourage you to call on the staff of Sumner Funeral and Cremation.
