We are new to Texas and unfortunately the first month here my Mother needed a rehab facility after a hospital stay.
In a very short time I had to visit 5 facilities and Meadowbrook was #5 on the list geographically that day and after walking out of the first 4 I was not hopeful.
I was so wrong….the minute I walked in and met the staff I knew this was a warm, caring facility that was more like a large home with family taking care of the residents.
Yes the facility is very dated but I’ve learned like the other people who have family members here that’s not important!
What is important is the cleanliness, care and staff…..
Thank you to the entire staff for treating my Mother like family 💗
My father entered Meadowbrook earlier this year. It is never easy when a loved one enters a nursing care facility. The director and all staff at this facility made this the best experience it could be. I was so grateful for the genuine care and compassion my father received. All members of the staff from the kitchen staff to the Nurses, made it their job to know what each resident needed or liked and did their best to fulfill those needs. Additionally we felt like family with some of the residents who were so caring as well . Do not judge a book by its cover there are far more important things than decor. We will be forever grateful for the staff at Meadowbrook.
I don’t even know where to start! My father recently passed away at Meadowbrook and I cannot say enough good things about how the staff handled his care in the months leading up to his passing. Every person on staff from nursing to food service to janitorial service to the Director were incredibly caring and accommodating to the needs of both my father and my mother who visited him every day. It is an older facility and, in all honesty, has no glam, bells or whistles, but from what I have learned on this journey is that those things are of the least importance. What was most important was the genuine care and attention they gave to both my parents. Thank you to all the staff at Meadowbrook Nursing. You treated my parents with dignity, love and respect. I will be forever grateful.
Worked with SherrieAnn Ortiz and Anna Ramos. They both helped make this transition smooth for my mom and our family.
