Madison met me with a warm smile and kind voice when I came to Covington Funeral Home. She helped me with arrangements for my husband explaining everything in detail. They followed up with a call from their aftercare service. Kathy Mills was very pleasant providing information to finalize my husband’s affairs and a service to help me through my sorrow. I personal don't believe I would have made the journey from the death of my father until his burial without the concern and caring of this staff. It started with me calling to ask what I needed to do for my father when he passed. We had moved from their area over 11 years ago. Madison Crihfield talked with me and setup with another funeral home 337 miles away from their location. At my father's passing, I only had to call the funeral home 12 miles from my home to pick him up. That was a relief from the start. With Covid 19 and the distance, the family wanted to wait for the burial after his cremation. This past week we buried him in the lovely cemetery next to the funeral home. They set it all up and the family was able to have an intimate period of time to share there thoughts and love for my father. Both Madison Crihfield and David Berryman stood outside with us during the whole process. Of course the most wonderful thing to me was their presentation of the American Flag in honor of my Dad's service in the Navy. I can not say enough about this wonderful staff. Covington Funeral Home helped with the arrangements for my mother’s cremation. David was very kind and made the process easy. He listened to what we wanted for her. He did not try to push us into buying other products or services. Their prices are very fair, and you won’t find a better group of people to work with in getting you through a very difficult event. Covington Funeral Home went above and beyond our expectations. We are very thankful for David and the rest of the staff.
